Hi Catriona. I enjoyed reading your post and thought it was very interesting that you included the student interaction after watching the video. I believe this is an excellent way for students to recall what they understood from the video, but also, this would allow students to hear feedback from classmates on how they study for exams and what has helped them in the past. I like that you mention that this interactive component can be done on Zoom through breakout groups or in a classroom setting. This would prevent potential barriers, such as the pandemic or students who cannot make it to class. I also like your idea of giving feedback to students by simply observing since it makes it easier for teachers to know whether students are really understanding the material. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Alecia. I like that you included the different types of interactions that would be done when responding to the video. This is important because it shows that we can learn in different forms, such as the student-content interaction (independent learning), the student-teacher interaction and the student-student interaction, which involves active participation. I like your idea of students talking to their classmates after the video since it gives them time to reflect on what they watched and learned. Their learning is also enhanced by including the group activity after since they hear from more of their classmates. Thank you for sharing!
